Nanny’s Kitchen is a family owned and operated restaurant that has been around for decades. It originated in Tampa, Florida in 1973, self-owned by Doris “Nanny” Edwards who had a soul meant to serve. Through the magic touch of her hands she prepared some of the best cooked food down south as a way to show her love and appreciation for others. Due to unforeseen circumstances Nanny had to retire from doing what she does best. In 2010, she gained her wings and departed from earth leaving behind her loving family.
To keep her legacy alive her grandchildren decided to open Nanny’s Kitchen in 2011 located in Largo, FL. In addition to the good old southern food the grandchildren found a way to put a twist to the taste by incorporating foods from all different cultural backgrounds. Nanny’s Kitchen continues to evolve and has become mobile since 2016; also known for endless catering services. Nanny’s Kitchen on Wheels is here to serve any and everyone who is in need of a great tasting meal!
